Privacy Policy
What this website collects, why, and what you can ask for. Last updated 5 November 2026.
This website is run by Belinda Beatty (“I”, “me”). I take the privacy of the people who use it seriously and handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles in the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
What I collect
- When you get in touch or make a booking: your name, email address, organisation, event details and whatever you write in your message.
- When you subscribe to the newsletter: your email address and, if you give it, your name.
- When you take the Core Power Snapshot or Diagnostic: your answers to the questions, plus the short background questions asked first (age bracket, gender, the level of pressure you work under, sector and role), whether you agreed to research use, and the link you came through. Your name and email are collected only if you ask for your results to be emailed to you.
- When you answer questions at one of my talks: your answers, and your name and email only if you choose to give them.
- When you use the site: basic technical information such as your browser type and screen size, and, where analytics is switched on, how pages are used (see Cookies below).
You do not have to give me your name to take the Snapshot or the Diagnostic. If you do not give information I ask for in a form, I may not be able to reply or book you in.
How I use it
- To reply to you, arrange and deliver talks and programs, and send invoices.
- To show you your results and, if you ask, email them to you.
- To send the newsletter, and any follow-up email you have agreed to. Every one carries a way to stop.
- To improve this website and the Snapshot and Diagnostic themselves.
- For research and benchmarking, but only where you agreed to it, and only ever in aggregated or anonymised form (see below).
I do not sell, rent or trade personal information.
Snapshot and Diagnostic research
The Core Power Snapshot and Diagnostic are my own instruments. When you agree to research use, your answers may be combined with other people’s to build performance benchmarks and to inform research, reports and keynotes. Anything published is aggregated or anonymised: no individual can be identified from it, and I do not publish results for groups so small that a person could be recognised.
Your individual results are shown only to you. If you took the Snapshot or Diagnostic as part of an organisation’s program, that organisation receives a group report, not your personal answers.
The questions, scoring and model behind the Snapshot and Diagnostic are my intellectual property. They may not be copied, reproduced or used to build another tool without my written permission.
Cookies and analytics
The Snapshot keeps a small identifier in your browser so it can recognise that you have already taken it and file your answers correctly, even if your connection drops mid-way. Where switched on, this site also uses Google Analytics and the Meta Pixel to understand how pages are used and how well its promotion works. These services set their own cookies, and you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
Who else sees it
Your information is stored on this website’s own secure server and is seen only by me and the people who help me run my business. A small number of service providers handle it on my behalf:
- Postmark, which delivers the emails this site sends.
- Google (Analytics) and Meta (Pixel), where analytics is switched on.
These providers are based in, or store information in, the United States and other countries. I only share what each needs to do its job. I will also disclose information where the law requires it.
Keeping it safe
The site is served only over an encrypted connection, the administration area is password protected, and the database is not reachable from the internet. I keep personal information only for as long as I need it for the purposes above, and then delete it or remove what identifies you.
Your choices
- You can unsubscribe from any email using the link at the bottom of it.
- You can ask to see the personal information I hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted, including your Snapshot or Diagnostic answers. Reply to any email from me, or write to me at the address below.
Questions or complaints
Email me at belinda[at]telt.com.au. I will reply within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with my response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
I may update this policy as the site changes. The date at the top shows when it last changed. For anything else, visit the contact page.
