Most People Are Chasing High Performance the Wrong Way

The demand for “High performance” is everywhere—in boardrooms, workplaces and the hustle of entrepreneurial business.
It sounds good. It feels aspirational. But pause for a second and connect with yourself—how is it really working for you?
Most of the high performers I meet are smart, driven, and utterly overloaded.
We’re achieving… but not always thriving. We’re caught in a cycle of chasing balance, waiting for something to shift… it will get easier when… I’ll feel better when…
What if executing your highest performance didn’t cost your wellbeing—what if it actually fuelled it?
Recently, I delivered a transformational workshop in Bali, hosted at the Tandewa resort, for a group of elite investors and entrepreneurs—individuals already operating at a high level.
What happened that week amidst the wild jungle surrounds and the abundant life-giving waterfalls wasn’t just energising. It was life–changing. Together, we flipped the script on high-performance.
Participants stepped into a whole new level of human performance optimisation, not by pushing harder, but by reconnecting with the forces at their core: - How we manage energy
How we execute tasks to achieve specific outcomes
How we lead ourselves moment-to-moment – influencing the behaviour of both self and others.
One person said, "Belinda is brilliant. The workshop was succinct, science-based, real, and inspiring—she creates the space and structure for true insight and transformation."
Another shared:
"Belinda’s powerful, honest style created the space I needed to reflect, reset, and move forward. The Core Synergy framework gave me clear next steps—and the tools to improve every part of my performance."
Another participant had just two words:
“Life Changing”
That’s flipping the script on high performance.
Over the course of the retreat, I guided the group through The Core Synergy High-Performance Framework—a system I developed to help people identify, measure and then target the area of their life to focus on to create the most significant performance shift in their day-to-day life.
We combined neuroscience, embodiment, strategy, and insight into a process that…embeds the performance habits that high performers use to dominate their fields. Every participant went home with insight into their highest return-on-investment area to focus effort on, in order to raise their performance day-to-day, month-tomonth, goal-to-result.
It’s not a motivational session. It’s not a productivity hack. It’s a human performance breakthrough.
If you are a leader who wants this shift for your team? Let’s talk.
It’s time to stop chasing success and start engineering your performance from your core. This is the breakthrough we’ve all been missing.
